Question: How are your products shipped?
Answer: What makes our shipping special is that we
ship our products to you without freezing them. Our steaks have never been frozen, and are not frozen during shipping - this provides maximum quality! To accomplish this, all orders are freshly cut on demand and shipped in special extra-thick insulated containers with advanced cooling gel packs. Your items will stay nice and cold during their trip, but won't be frozen. The gel packs that are used to keep your items chilled will melt partially or even fully during transit, keeping your items perfectly chilled and cool to the touch. Find out
why fresh meat is better than frozen.
Also, your items are vacuum packed for freshness. Vacuum packed steaks can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week, but should be frozen right away if you aren't sure when you are going to consume your steaks; they can be kept frozen for up to 3 months. For best flavor, juiciness and texture, we recommend consuming your vacuum packed steaks within 5 days of receipt.
Question: How much does the shipping cost?
Answer: Your order will be shipped via your choice of FedEx 2-Day (2 days in transit) or FedEx Overnight (1 day in transit)
service. FedEx 2-Day starts at just $13.95 for orders below $50. Orders between $50 and $100 are $17.95, between $100 and $150 are $22.95, and over $150 are $27.95. FedEx
Overnight starts at $48.95 for orders below $50. Between $50 and $100 are $53.95, between $100 and $150 are $58.95, and over $150 are $63.95. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii starts
at $54.95, and will be either Overnight or 2-Day delivery
depending on your exact location (email us to check).
Please note:
We can only ship to addresses in the USA, and only to addresses FedEx can deliver to (no P.O. Boxes!).
Question: I want to order a gift for someone, how does this work?
Answer: We offer specially picked out steak gift packages in our Steak Assortments department, or you
can shop on your own throughout our store to come up with the perfect
set of items. Gift orders will include within the package a message from you, which you can specify when you checkout.
Any order you specify as a gift will never include any pricing information in the package.
Question: I want to specify a certain delivery date, how does this work?
Answer: When checking out you can request a specific delivery date in the future by simply entering in your desired delivery date into the "Shipping Notes" box. This is helpful for when you want to order in advance for a gift to be delivered later, and also for when you want to guarantee that we will have the item you want during busy times of the year like December.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday deliveries are NOT available, because FedEx doesn't operate on the weekends.
Regular orders: Please pick a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday for your specific delivery date order(s).
Tuesday Delivery
Tuesday delivery is only available if you place your order by 11 am Eastern on the previous Thursday and choose FedEx Overnight shipping.
Question: On what days do you ship orders?
Answer: In order to ensure proper delivery of your order, we ship regular orders Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Holiday Schedule: We do not ship packages, and FedEx does not deliver packages, on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Question: So, when I place my order on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday it won't ship before the following Monday? Why?
Answer: This is because the processing plant where fresh steaks are hand picked, hand cut, and vacuum packaged for your order requires cut off times for new orders coming in and 1 day time for processing new orders.
Your steaks are always processed fresh - and they are shipped fresh. Therefore we do not want to risk that your order ends up in a FedEx warehouse over the weekend.
Question: When do I get the email with the FedEx shipment tracking information?
Answer: We will send you an email including the tracking number when your
package ships so you will know when to expect the delivery. If you are sending a gift be sure to let the recipient know to expect a package!
Question: Are you a wholesaler? Do you offer International Shipping?
Answer: MyButcher.com is not a wholesaler, we cater to individuals only. Also,
we currently do not offer international shipping.
